On my trip to Italy, we stopped at the home town of parents of a buddy I was traveling with. They happen to have a motocross event at the same time.

I shot some of it with an 8mm simulator app on the iPhone. I always love 8 and 16mm, as they have a "film-y" feel to them.

They start from youngest to oldest. This was the 2nd heat, with 10-12 year olds. The opening heat (didn't have the camera ready) was 6-10 year olds. Amazing. Way more fun than playing with an iPad.

The Saracen towers along the Amalfi coast were built as a defensive system to protect the coast from raids by pirates, particularly those of Saracen or Turkish origin. These towers were strategically placed to allow for communication and signaling between them, enabling a swift response to potential attacks. The towers, despite their name, were constructed by the local populations and not the Saracens themselves
